Ahoy there!

My pirate name is:
Captain Bess Rackham
Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

Gracie's 4th Birthday

It was a whole week of celebrations for Gracie's birthday.  I can't believe my little baby is already 4!!  Seems like just yesterday that she looked like this.

Grace13

Now she's my big, big girl.  Big even for a four year old.  She's 42 inches and 40 pounds!

It was nearly impossible to get a good picture of her this birthday.  She's hit that stage where she wants to make silly faces for the camera all the time.  Such an annoying stage for the scrapbooking mom, LOL.

Here's a few more shots.....

Becca, Sarah and Jimmy were here for the party and it was so awesome to see them.  We haven't seen them all summer.  I can't believe how big they are all getting.  After everyone else left we had some time to just hang with Tony, Liz and the kids and it was nice to catch up.  Gracie loves them so much. Sometimes she talks about her sisters "Becca and Sarah", it's so cute.

I have to take pictures of some of these amazingly cute toys she got later.  Aunt Liz found this amazing Disney Princess Carriage that spins as it rolls.  I've got to take a picture of it because I can't fine one online. It rules!!  She also got the baby Cinderella carriage and the Dora Mermaid doll and carriage from Shannon and Connor.

All in all it was a great birthday party and a great birthday for our sweetie girl.  Cannot believe she is 4!!!!

Thanks to all of our wonderful friends who made it such a great day. There's still one more party to go.  On the 29th we'll have the "big" birthday with our family to celebrate the Altiero mating season.  All of the kids on my side are born w/in a 4 week period.  Too funny!

Check it out!!!  Already did the layouts for her birthday!!!!

Doin' Some Scrappin

Gracie was worn out from Aunt Maureen's amazing 40th birthday party yesterday.  Have to admit to being a tiny bit hungover myself, LOL.  So Gracie is already in bed and has been for hour and I am enjoying some Giants Football and scrapping.  Well, not enjoying watching us lose so much, but it's still cool.  So here's my first layout of the night:

This picture just cracked me up because it sums up the relationship that my FIL has with the kids.  They all swarm around him as if no one else exists.  The positioning of Nana in the background just seemed to illustrate that so well.  Credits can be seen here.

Amy and Lloyd were the only ones who managed to to find something from the 80's to wear to Maureen's party.  They looked so awesome!!!  Really, they should have gotten a prize.  Although I'm sure nothing could be as cool as walking around these outfits in 90+ degree NJ weather, LOL.  Credits here.

I actually did this one during the week.  I think everything is from SBG's Funky Train Kit.  The quote is from Maya's Gratitude Quotes Set.
