Kit of the Day
There are so many talented new faces out there! It's making it very hard to choose where to spend my limited digi dollars. I just came across Agnes Lahur's Amore and I really love the colors. I love the richness of the red and the addition of the warmer tones is very appealing. I always tend to gravitate to that warmer palette, as you know. The hearts have a nice freestyle quality without being too quirky and I really love the wax seal element. Overall this has a very soft and warm feel that reminds me of the comfortable yet strong love that my hubby and I share. Great work!
Layout of the Day
Even without the cleverly placed journaling I would know what Shoes, Shoes, Shoes by Cityangel23 is all about. I love the storyboard effect created by this layout using the white borders and the ribbon with the journaling. Note how the photos are lined up perfectly on top of each other, but are staggered instead. This keeps this from being boring and keeps your eyes moving. This layout reminds me so much of Gracie. She still loves playing with shoes....she's so like her father, LOL. I can't seem to grab a thumnail of this layout. Trust me it's worth the click over to her gallery.

As for my own stuff? Well my all time favorite is my most recent. Angel took me a really long time to make because I was stretching my wings and trying all kinds of new and cool stuff. I really love the way it came out and the colors are so me. My other favorite is Bill's Kitchen, which is a charity kit for Share Our Strength and is based on the colors in my new, well not so new now, kitchen and named after my hubby who built it himself.

Ever since I wrote the title of this section I have been singing Shameless by Garth Brooks. Anyone else love that song as much as I do? Reminds me of my hubby...sigh....okay back to work for me and time to go shopping for you!!!!
I loved Bill's Kitchen and Angel. Angel made me think of Rosie and Gracie together.
And my secret dream was to own a stationery store. LOL. I loved Krista's Art Song Trilogy. She is super talented and her goodness shines through in her work.
