Digi Picks 1/17/07
Ugh...that's all I have to say about today. I have to go around and harass clients for their payments or cut off services at 5pm. That is by far my least favorite thing about my job. I know they need to pay us, but do I really need three different people to call me today to go over the list and ask me what I'm doing about it. Next thing I know we'll be using new coversheets on our TPS reports!!!!! Thank you for listening. Now on to more important stuff like digi picks!!!!
Kit of the Day
Designers are taking some fun new approaches to Valentine's Day this year and they are working in some non-traditional colors, which I'm totally digging. Michelle Underwood has a vibrant and funky Valentine kit called Precious Love that I am totally digging right now. I love the green heart!!!! The bank note is a great touch and the overall funkiness of the kit makes it something you wouldn't just use for Valentine's Day. I really like that journaling frame...very usable!
Layout of the Day
Check out all of the element layering on Novita's Spirit . This layout has a very cool altered artish kind of feel, while still being kid friendly. I really like it! That bracket just kind of hanging out over there on the left is such a cool touch. It makes our eyes move towards the photos without being distracting. Love, love, love the corrugated tear at the bottom right corner, but you know I just can't do a page without tearing some paper LOL.
