Kit of the Day
Are you in search of an awesome masculine kit with tons of personality? Check out Ztampf's latest and greatest, IMO, Structure . Wow!!!! I just cannot believe how cool this kit is and there is an add-on with even more totally cool stuff. My husband is an engineer and is one of those classic puttering fathers and I would love to scrap him with this kit! I love the graph paper backgrounds and all of the tools...tons of tools man!!! This is great!
Layout of the Day
Gemamac describes her Wanted layout as a labor of love and it was worth all the hours she put into it. There are so many tiny and gorgeous details in this layout. I adore the little wanted poster and the he said/she said card. This is a fun layout and a very nice and romantic celebration of 20 years together! Wow. Congrats.
I have no idea how many people I have told about this book today. I cannot tell you how excited I am that someone finally accepts my lack of cleaning mojo for the genius it really is, LOL.
A Perfect Mess is my dream come true!!! It explains how having a messy desk or office is not a function of laziness and is nor is it a mark against your character. Here's a quote from the book jacket:
Flying utterly in the face of conventional wisdom, the authors turn the world of organization on its head to examine how messy systems can be more effective than highly organized ones. Neatness for its own sake, they say, not only has hidden costs in terms of man-hours that could be spent doing other work but it turns out that the highly touted advantages may not even exist.
I'm running to get this book tonight!!!! Then I will display it prominently as soon as you walk in so that you will know what you are getting into!!!

I saw the author who penned A Perfect Mess interviewed on TV while I was walking and her conc epts appear to be valid and sound. Too bad it wasn't written when I used to wax my hardwood floors once a week and you could literally eat off my walls which got scrubbed monthly.
