Kit of the Day
One of the reasons I love my readers so much is that you let me be flaky without every pointing it out. I can't tell you how many times I have put the wrong date in the subject and no one has written to me about it. Of course my beloved mother and most frequent commenter, Michele Angelo, made sure to point it out yesterday, LOL. You can always count on your mom!! Ah, but I digress. Gracie is a ripe old 3 years old already. Where does the time go? Amy Knepper found herself asking the same question about how quickly kids grow up and from that question a kit was born! Leaps and Bounds Paper Pack and adorable coordinating Element Pack is a great kit for marking the growth of your little ones and even your big ones. The hands down coolest things in this kit are the date ribbons with the sliders. They were featured in my layout pick from yesterday so I had to go check out the whole kit. The colors are fun and subdued without being boring so it will fit with kids of any age, both boys and girls. The black and white checkerboard paper is really fun! Thanks Amy for an inventive, fun and very useful kit!!
I've decided I need a new camera...yeah, I know I got one last Christmas. Somehow I just can't seem to take pix as great as the ones in Bugshine's Grateful for You. I'm praying this was taken with a really expensive SLR digital, otherwise I just stink at taking pictures, LOL. In addition to a gorgeous and fun photo this layout features a fun combination of pictures by placing the strip of black and white "proofs" next to the focal photo. The simplicity of this layout allows the bright colors of this cutie's eyes and coat stand out and also helps us to focus in on the bed of fall leaves in which she is cradled. So beautiful.

That leaps and bounds elements set looks like a "must-have" for digiscrappers. Thanks for pointing it out!

Thank you!!! I do shoot with a Canon 20D, so that definitely helps, but when you have a kit that cute you can't miss...lol!!!

Sorry about the date notification, I just thought you would want to know. Anyway, the layout of the day is gorgeous, very vivid and you jump right into it. Was difficult for me, though, to turn myself upside down to look at the cutie in the picture
