Kit of the Day
The truly unique is getting harder to come by in today's digi scrapping world, but Jan Crowley has succeeded in creating something very cool. Check out Comic Junkie! Do you have husbands or boyfriends who are very into comics? If so this is a great kit to scrap their adventures at the comic cons or while lost in their colorful adventures. You can also create your own alter ego and send her on adventures using this kit and do the same with the little people in your life. This is just the most fun kit! It even has the "splats" and "pow"s!
Layout of the Day
Another great vacation layout for those of you struggling with a ton of pictures from your travels. Geri's Suspended in Time does a fabulous job of getting many pictures onto one page and sharing the adventure of her trip to Northern Arizona. The curve of photos is a great way to create a strip without having it look boring. This layout was created using one of Jen Caputo's sketches, which are a great tool when you need a little assist getting your pages organized. Geri still put her own spin on this layout and it won't look like anyone else's. Give this method a try, it might help you explore your creativity. Another great source for this type of scrapping assist is Bree Clarkson's Scrap Maps .

I am having one of those days where I can't find anything and your email addy is one of those things, LOL. I would love to nominate a LO for reader pick. If you could email me at dlnc@bellsouth.net, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
