Kit of the Day
Gracie and I are still hard at work on our garden and our seeds are starting to sprout. Dani B's new set, Dani's Little Sprout Element Pack and Paper Pack are a wonderful way to capture the new growth of spring. Do you have a little sprout in your family who is growing like a weed? I love the earthy greens and browns of this kit and the rustic touches like the stitches that are not quite perfect and the worn wooden frame. There is even a white picket fence in this kit!!!! I love it!
Layout of the Day
When I look at We Named You Thomas by SAHMommy I can immediately feel the exuberance of her little guy and her love for him. This layout just jumps off the page at you! I love, love, love the giant star and the angle of the photo creates the feeling that he is popping out of that star at the viewer. The use of all the different fonts and the erratic placement of the letters ads to the feeling of excitement. The ribbons in various colors and textures and the stitching continue the vibe. I love the tape with all of his other names. This is just a fun and wonderful layout!
