Kit of the Day
If you've been reading for a while you know that I am partial to warm colors. It's handy that God gave me a readheaded daughter, LOL. Anyway, I have found a new warm treasure in Peppermint Creative's Dusty Reflections Element and Paper Packs . These wonderfully soft shades of peach, melon and chocolate are so alluring. I just want to roll around in them...yes, I'm strange. The elements are a fun collection of items that include washers, tags, ribbons and absolutely adorable paper flowers. Everything blends so well together that you can create an almost infinite number of unique pages with this kit!
Layout of the Day
Get ready to smile in a chessy ear-to-ear kind of way courtesy of ScrapHappyMe. Heart to Heart is one of those sweet and simple layouts. This photo doesn't need a ton of embellishing or journaling. This is perfect just the way it is presented. The BW photo coupled with the spring greens and yellows sets this layout in the season. The slightly skewed strings give the layout some visual interest and it is all balanced by the flowers at the top, the title strips on the lower right and the hearts on the lower left. Very well done.
