Digi Picks 4/26/06

Kit of the Day
Juicy is the first word that came to mind when I saw Jan Hosford's new kit Friends .  These super bright and happy colors are like a refreshing drink of iced cold citrus juice!  The papers feature fun florals, striped and dots all perfect to create great pages about your friends.  I am in love with the floral trellis border!  That is so pretty!!  I also love the large bold flower accents.  Such a fun kit!

Layout of the Day
There's nothing better than a girly-girl tomboy!  Tonya's little girl seems to have the men in the house wrapped around her little finger and I love it!!!  I also love this layout.  Unmistakeably You captures a great moment and makes it even better!  I love the way Tonya cropped this photo.  It cuts out all of the extraneous stuff that would have been around this duo and helps us to focus right in on them.  In doing so she has also created some really fun angles for this layout.  I love the way her journaling is angled as well. The girly mat used under this rugged photo helps to convey that her DD is both a tomboy and a girly girl.  I love all of the word art and titles on this one too.  Really great layout!!!!
